Nissan Cube Cubic Mk2 for sale '04 - SOLD

Postby Spike » Sun Jun 03, 2012 6:11 pm

Ladies and Gentlemen
Apologies for not being active on this site before, but I only twigged the club existed whilst at JapFest last month when I caught up with RickFury. I was on the Cube Owners Club stand ( http://forum.cubeownersclub.co.uk/topic/4673 )

Anyway, although it's not super fast and it won't drift, it IS Japanese, it IS an import, it IS low, it DOES get you noticed and unfortunately it's time for me to sell my Cube 7 seater.

Seven seats (with a pop up third row seat in the boot) - you can even fold the front seats flat to make a double bed:

Good bits
- K Sport coilovers - adjustable ride height and front camber (you can crank the camber right out with these, but I've set them to a 'normal' stance for everyday driving)
- Lenso BSX alloys - ET38 @ 7.5j (+ new Avons on front)
- 7" JVC DVD/MP3/SATnav unit with reversing camera and bluetooth (worth £400 secondhand) (http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product ... -23197.htm for spec and http://forum.cubeownersclub.co.uk/topic/3294 for it installed in the car)
- MOT til Nov
- Tax til end of Sept
- Really clean interior - http://forum.cubeownersclub.co.uk/topic/3586 and http://forum.cubeownersclub.co.uk/topic/3585 - Here you can see the 56" long bootspace with the rear seats folded - much more useful than the smaller Cube. Perfect for bicycle carrying - my MTB fits upright in the back with only the front wheel removed and one seat folded.
- Front and second row seats fold flat to make double bed
- Original steel wheels, wheeltrims and shocks will come with the car, should you want to swap the car back to original.
- Undersealed - http://forum.cubeownersclub.co.uk/topic/3004 - not standard on Jap imports
- Arches rolled
- Recently serviced with new belts. New battery in November. I fitted new discs and pads fitted last year (https://picasaweb.google.com/martinmoth ... directlink)

Not so good bits
- Small scratches on the left under the front bumper and lower back right bumper
- One of the rear shocks has popped a seal (unusual, given quality of the shocks) and I haven't had it fixed. I swapped it for one of the original Cube shocks that I still had and it's been working fine since. The shock can be repaired by a suspension shop - I've just not got round to it.
- Tiny spot of rust just above windscreen from a stone chip

The reason for selling it? A change in circumstances mean I now need a car that will do a lot more miles in comfort and this is more of a town car than a motorway cruiser, so it's back to boring mundane Volvo V50/Passat TDi-land.. I will miss it, and will certainly miss the smiles and photos being taken as people drive past on the motorway. I'm based just outside Portsmouth, Hants.

£4800 ono.

PM me if you're interested
Cheers
Spike

Now sold to a guy with an original Honda NSX and an MSX. He likes his JCs!
