BMW 740

Looking to get back into Jap, so selling the Beemer cheap as i've seen a potential replacement.

1996 BMW 740i

Beautiful dark metallic purple, rare colour (Navarra violet metallic). 100,800 miles. MOT - March 2013' Tax - Oct 2012 (cheaper tax band). Very capable of returning 30mpg.

Folder full of service history as pictured. Mainly BMW dealer or BMW Specialist. Both manuals, and stamped service book.

Automatic with manual 'steptronic' and Sport mode
Cruise control
Full leather interior
Electric memory 'comfort' seats
Tilt and slide sunroof
TV
Ipod/Iphone Stereo Integration
ASC traction control
Full width front armrest
Angel eyes
HID headlights
Dual zone climate control
Onboard computer
Soft close bootlid

This is the popular bullet-proof M62 engine version. There are age related marks on the outside; a couple of small rust bubbles, a few dinks. The main issue is the panel below the boot... The previous owner locked the keys in the boot and used a crowbar. I have replaced the bootlid and had it sprayed, but havnt got round to the creases on the bodywork. I have been quoted £100 to pull these out. The bootlid functions as normal.

The engine has just clocked over 100k, and if you know your BMWs, this is nothing for these cars/engines. Fully stamped dealer history with recent Oil service. Cooling system replaced including hoses and heater valves/auxilliary pump by MVT in Poole (BMW speciallist). Engine is smooth with no noises, gearbox the same.

The car is an absolute please to drive with smoothness and comfort and awesome power from the V8.

NOW ADVERTISED ON EBAY AND ELSEWHERE

£1,000

Got my eye on something... Will be going to view it on 21st when I get paid. Agreed a price with the owner and so long as it's together i'll take it.

More details to follow, but it's a Wagon with a twist :?
