Who's got an EK9?

Postby Dan507 » Tue Sep 13, 2011 11:34 am

As above. Thinking of getting one. Would anyone be kind enough to take me out for a spin?

Dan.

If I'm honest I have no idea what car I want.

The few cars I'm thinking about are;

Glanza V
EK9
RX8
Mx5
IS200
GT turbo
AE86

Lol.

to make it easier to decided try and work out what you want the car for? if you want a little hatch for kaining down a/b roads then id definitely go for an ek. but then if you want to be a hairdresser and get into skidding then a mx5 would be a great little car to learn in etc etc

Well I want something I can track. So that's the IS200 out.

Not sure about skidding it would be cool but not my main concern

I have been saving up for an ae86 but not that I have the money I'm having second thoughts. As there not exactly practical or cheap.

So at the moment I'm thinking EK because it ticks all the boxes except drifting but as I said above. I'm not really that bothered.

If I'm honest, I'm not fond of the EG civics. Don't like the look of them.

I see IS200 as a big Family car. In my veiw any car with four doors isn't a track car

4 doors normally mean a stronger chassis plus the lexis is rwd! Better track car imo dude...
Especially as craigs boosted completely mental specd one is up for sale again at a furkin cheap price...

I'm not saying the IS200 is bad. But for a car I can track I would like something light.

As for insurance I'm on a trade policy so it only costs 250 quid to add a car to it. But they are limits to what I can drive with me being 18.

Sup buddy!!

I've driven most of the cars on ur list or nearabouts with the exception of the ae86! I'd have to say out of all of them the lexus was the most planted feeling and stable at speed. I'd also bet if u took all the luxury stuff u get in them out you could get the weight down a hell of alot!!
