Tyre Repair - Where?

Postby glyn1980 » Sat Jul 14, 2012 5:26 pm

Hi Guys,

Been in and out of hospital the last week or so and the car has been left undriven for a week or so, I have noticed the driver tyre was vitually flat, I have pumped it up, but I think it has a slow puncture. It has a tonne of tred left on it and don't really want to buy a new one, I bought 4 for the FTO just before it went. I see F1 Autocentres do repairs for £19.60, does anyone know anywhere else that does it locally and at a cheaper price than that?

Thanks!

I think most places are around 20 quid mate. Any tyre place can do it, tyreland, quick fit, bathwicks etc

Thanks mate, I normally go to National, but I'm not sure they always do what they say they do. I will try F1, hopefully it can be repaired or I'm off to National for a BOGOF on Barum Bravius

Thanks mate. I had today off so went to National in Bournemouth as the pressure had gone down loads. It turned out to be the valve and the rear bead was leaking. They re-sealed and put on a new valve for £10.

Should have been £22 but the guy said he couldn't be bothered with the paper work and I was chatting to the acting manager as I recognised him from their Poole branch.
